For 20 years, I have worked with C-level leaders (CEOs, CFOs, COOs) and senior management.

I turned to coaching when transitioning from Managing Director to CEO. I had led large teams before, but the CEO role is different: you have to step away from micromanagement and start viewing the company from a strategic perspective. I had never held this role before, and that was my primary challenge.

Agnieszka understands management from the inside—having worked with many CEOs and business owners—yet she is also able to delve deeper into the true drivers behind decisions. This context is evident in every question she asks. Sometimes they are uncomfortable—the kind I wouldn’t have asked myself—yet these are the questions that lead to genuine insights.

The process also had a clear structure: Agnieszka guided me step-by-step through the levels of the Leadership Development Pyramid—from identifying my own behavioral patterns and redefining the leader’s role to implementing changes in daily practice and making them stick. Working through each stage provided direction and a sense of genuine progress.

A year later, I lead the company differently. I give division directors the space to make their own decisions, consistently follow through on what we’ve agreed upon, and view the company in terms of years rather than just the coming month or quarter—looking at the organization as a whole, not just individual departments. The biggest change: I realized I didn’t have to shoulder everything on my own.

After each session, there are some questions left for me to think about, I must say, it’s not easy to complete the whole sessions. After I tried my best to be really open during the sessions and think about it after the session, I made my final decision. There are many misconceptions surrounding coaching, often because it is sometimes practiced by people with only superficial training. When I decided to begin my own coaching process, I was looking for someone experienced, well-prepared, and deeply familiar with the challenges faced by business owners. Ms. Agnieszka turned out to be an outstanding professional — empathetic, insightful, and equipped with extensive knowledge of both business and psychology.
